These terms govern sales made on embrcbd.store between the trader (see legal notice) and any consumer resident in the European Union ("the Customer"). They implement Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, as applied across EU member states.
Products are listed with their essential characteristics (dosage, format, potency) on each product page. THC content is below the applicable national threshold for every EU country the product ships to — see [TODO: confirm per-country threshold before shipping there]. Sale restricted to adults (18+).
Prices are shown in euros, tax included. Below €10,000 in total annual EU cross-border sales, VAT is charged at the trader's home-country rate; above that threshold, VAT is charged at the customer's country rate (EU One-Stop-Shop scheme) [TODO: confirm current OSS registration status].
Payment is processed by a secured third-party provider (Stripe) [TODO: confirm once integrated]. No card data is stored by the trader.
Dispatch within 24h, delivery across the EU [TODO: confirm real delivery times per country, carrier, shipping cost].
Under Directive 2011/83/EU (Art. 9-16), the Customer has 14 days from receipt of the product to withdraw from the contract, without giving a reason. The exact implementing provisions (numbering, formalities) vary by the Customer's country of residence; France's Code de la consommation Art. L221-18 is one example transposition.
Exception: per Art. 16(e) of the Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, once unsealed after delivery (applies to ingestible products once opened).

Every product carries the statutory guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, as provided under the consumer protection law of the Customer's country of residence, in line with EU minimum harmonisation standards.
The EU's central Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued in July 2025. In case of a dispute, the Customer can contact the consumer dispute resolution body in their own country — see the European Commission's Consumer Redress in the EU directory, before any court action.
